In a recent interview with Naftemporiki, Dimitris Tiniakos, Chief Operations Officer of Polyeco, shared insights into the company’s strategic priorities, investments, and commitment to sustainability and innovation.

Dimitris Tiniakos, Chief Operations Officer of Polyeco, granted an interview to the “Naftemporiki” channel, where he analyzed the company’s leading role in environmental management and the circular economy.
During the interview, he presented Polyeco’s modern facilities in Greece and abroad, as well as the significant projects and investments realized over the past two years, including the new plant  for the sterilization of infectious waste from hospitals and general healthcare units.

Mr. Tiniakos emphasized the three core components  of innovation, investment, and education as the company’s key pillars of growth, while also underlining the commitment to reduce environmental footprint and GHG emissions by 30% by 2030, through the expansion of renewable energy sources and the use of advanced technologies.
Finally, he highlighted the critical role that Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology plays in monitoring pollutant emissions and enhancing health and safety in the workplace, demonstrating the company’s commitment towards innovative and sustainable practices.
